We are all very excited about our 2007 season and can’t believe we are starting to plan for 2008! So many players and parents have written inquiring about our tryout and upcoming season information. It is apparent that more and more players are looking to take their game to the next level with Mass Elite!!

TEAMS
Girls: Year of graduation, 2009 thru 2015
Boys: Year of graduation, 2009 thru 2013

TRYOUTS
Mass Elite Team Tryouts for 2008 will begin in October 2007 for all girls and boys. Call backs will be later this fall… additional tryout could be added to accommodate all interested players

All players interested in playing with Mass Elite must attend one try out, though ALL try outs are highly recommended. Players will be invited to callbacks based on try out evaluations. Mass Elite often recruits players playing in the Achieve Lacrosse leagues and training programs from September until March, for indoor lacrosse program information go to www.achievelax.com. Additionally, Mass Elite will invite players that our coaches have seen play during the spring season to attend try outs.

FEES
The 2008 Tryout fee is $50.00 per player, which covers all tryouts and call backs.
The 2008 Team fee is $700.00 for New Members, and $600.00 for Returning Members; the Girls Developmental Team Fee is $400.00 Mass Elite does offer a family discount of $50.00 per player fee. 

A Team fee covers yearly expenses such as complete uniform and equipment for all players and coaches - web site administration - team equipment – club and team administration - practices and clinics – field rental fees – directors and coaches fees - travel expenses – postage – utilities - insurance - legal fees - accounting fees – office expenses - marketing expenses – office equipment and supplies - profile CD’s and books – college assistance, and more….

Tournament fees vary from $50.00 - $175.00 depending on the tournament and format.  Players have the option of participating in as many tournaments as possible.

Mass Elite is a nonprofit organization and we believe in providing the best and most affordable program for all our players.  We look throughout the year for volunteers and sponsorships, along with opportunities to lessen our expenses.  We also provide our annual Xtreme Lax Tournament which raises money for our Scholarship Fund we offer to our graduating class.

REGISTER FOR MASS ELITE
To register for tryouts all players must complete and submit an online registration, above, and mail their receipt / consent (included on receipt) with tryout fee payable to MASS ELITE. Team fees are identified on the on line registration forms and will be due at CALL BACKS. Players will receive confirmation of registration 1-week prior to tryouts with all pertinent details.

All Mass Elite members who make this year’s team are required to be US Lacrosse members. For those players who are not members please register before December 1, 2007 at the US Lacrosse web site, www.lacrosse.org.
