Listed below are additional playing opportunities for high school players. The Under Armour Underclassmen All America Team and Lower New England National Tournament teams are highly competitive and selective. Only the top players in our area are selected to represent the New England region at these events. Making one of these teams is an honor and serves as an accolade for your lacrosse resume.
Under Armour Underclassmen All American Tournament Teams
Each region will feature the Command and Highlight Divisions. The Command Division will showcase players from the 2022 and 2023 high school graduation years, while the Highlight Division will feature the 2020 and 2021 players. The regional teams will be selected via tryouts. Once selected the Underclass teams will travel to Baltimore, MD and compete in the Under Armour Underclass Tournament, June 27th – June 20th. Each team will battle it out in a pool play tournament at the Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Weekend to be crowned the Nations’ Elite.

2019 US Lacrosse Women’s National Tournament
Players must be pre-nominated by their high school coach to attend a tryout. High school coaches may only nominate a maximum of 5 VARSITY field players and 1 goal keeper. In order to be selected to an MA/RI team, participation at both tryouts are mandatory. The Massachusetts/Rhode Island region sends 4 teams to the US Lacrosse Women’s National Tournament.

U19 World Festival Tournament
Players have the chance to participate in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play lacrosse in another country against international competition. The 2019 U19 World Lacrosse Festival is a unique event providing players to not only play and compete, but to watch the FIL U19 Women’s Lacrosse World Championships in Peterborough Canada. Players eligible for the USA team are 2018s, 2019s, 2020s (As long as you don’t turn 20 in 2019).
The Festival includes teams from Canada, Israel, Wales, England and the U.S. This Festival will be played in a championship format. The goal is to put a roster together of some of the best players in New England. (There will be no practices prior to the trip, but once in Canada the team will be able to get on a field to work through some strategies.) For more information, click here.
Cost: $2,500 (includes coach transportation to Peterborough Canada from Springfield Massachusetts and back, entry into the Festival Tournament, overnight accommodations (7 days and 6 nights), breakfast, lunch and dinner, Uniforms, gear and any team excursions/sightseeing travel expense – and tickets to the U19 World Lacrosse Championships)
